Principle of industrial EDI ultrapure water equipment

1. Ro produced water is evenly distributed into fresh water chamber after entering EDI module.

 

2. Trace ions not removed from RO membrane are adsorbed on the membrane surface by ion exchange resin in fresh water chamber.

 

3. Direct current is applied to the electrodes at both ends of the EDI module to drive the cation and anion in the fresh water chamber to migrate to the corresponding electrode to the concentrated water chamber, so as to produce high-purity water.
